Swimming & Diving Cautions

by kiki2u @ 2006-06-18 - 12:54:29

Now is Summer time :D, we must have some cautions while we swim or dive; so here's some as i'm aware of them, because of swimming, on sea especially, and windsurfing...Wish it helps you:
1.Allow 2 hours after a meal before you swim. Let your food digest.
2.In a pool, look to see that the water is cleared of persons in front of the spring-board before you dive.
3.If you're playing tag in and out pf the pool, be careful not to jump on a swimmer.
4.Unless you know the person and are sure he won't mind, don't duck or splash him. He may become distressed or panicky.
5.Don't dive into unknown water. Make sure it's deep enough, and free of rocks or stumps.
6.Stay within bounds at a bathing beach. You can have plenty of FUN without going beyond the boundary ropes.
7.Don't ever remain in the water until you've reached the exhaustion point. When you feel yourself getting tired get out.
8.Have respect for a river current or an undertow. Most undertows won't bother an experienced swimmer, but they may worry a beginner.
9.If swimming bothers your ears, wear stoppers.
10.Don't swim too far under water. You mau injure yourself.

:D have and enjoy a nice Summer and Swimming time, hugs2u all
