D'U find the use of Internet MUST BE controlled4the Parents?
According to one study done recently, in Portugal, MORE than 70% of the children who's finishing the High-school ( 16, 17 years old ) admit to go have meetings by tea-time with a stranger who had finished to meet in the Internet
Being aware of the involved risks, as various types of abuses for instance, do you think that the use of the Internet have to be controlled by the parents?
Even knowing they have the right to their privacy... depends the laws of various countries, here, of course...they still are children under their 18years old in Portugal and in UK for instance.
So, hav'g they the right to privacy does it means its none parents business ?
Or, the security of our own children must take advantage in detriment of their privacy?
In my opinion, parents must have a moderate control, ..as is such a complicate age, when in their teens,... they have the right of protect their own children, despite the right of each owns privacy, because let our kids meeting with stranges that they don't know nothing about and as in this case at the first contact in the Internet it really represents a danger!
Don't know what you do think about this theme, but by me yes with careful parents have and can control it,
Have a nice afternoon,
