( To a better view click on the image, it enlarges.)
Carston Glock is an artist who turned expert on making portraits of famous people, celebrities.
The curious are the materials he uses to give form to those celebrities: carrots, mushrooms, herbs, olives, brussel sprouts, swedes, cauliflowers, cabbages, and all the type of vegetables he decides to and which he manages gives form to some very weldone portraits as the ones i refered and show in this post.
His work was presented for the first time in USA during the " National Salad Week " (

) which pretends to show to the North America's people the necessity of eat green food=vegetables.

" Be Happy Now "
" Learn to enjoy every minute of your Life.
Be happy now.
Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the Future.
Think how really precious is the time you have to spend whether it's at work or with your family.
Every minute should be enjoyed and savored. "

10Thousand Euros In...
...his dog's funeral. A Chinese man, with 80 years old, spent about 10 thousand euros in the funeral of his dog. Lin had a special affection for the esteem animal that found abandoned 3 months ago. The retired teacher affirmed that the dog became the biggest joy " of the third age" after the death of his wife 5 years ago.
So, when he passed away, the old man took the dead dog to a cemitery of Chengdu, a province of Schuan, and didn't mind to pay the necessary to do a funeral to his dog."
- Well, i have a dog and i love him a lot...but 10 thousand euros in his funeral?
WOW huh?!!!
Is toooooooo much!
But, well i guess was the way the old man found to show off how much he loved the dog plus his loneliness.

Britain And France
Back in the day, Britain and France were at war with each other. During a particular battle, French soldiers captured an English Major. Taking the Major to their headquarters, a French general began to question him.
The French general asked:
-“Why do you English officers all wear red coats? Don’t you realize the red materials make you easier targets for us to shoot?”
In his bland English way, the Major informed the General that the reason English officers wear red coats is so that if they are shot, blood won’t show and the men they are leading won’t panic.
And this is why, from that foward, all French Army officers wear brown pants. ![]()
